Super Suggestion, Rob!

As I've said before, one of the best things about this business is getting to meet, know, and work with so many wonderful people in the U.S. and around the world. 

Another recent example: Rob, living in Camas, Washington.

Rob is passionate about bringing attention to Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) and he has written a book on the subject: "Naked in The Middle of a Tornado - The True Story of One Family's Inspiring Fight Against Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)."

He wanted to modify the structure of his book, so he purchased a license to The Life Writer with the intention of inserting the existing book into The Life Writer automatic book format.

That only worked partially, because The Life Writer was not designed for that - - - although users can cut/paste large sections of pre-existing content.

We worked with Rob on a few "work arounds" to the problem - other ways to solve it creatively - but Rob decided to revert back to the original method he used for writing.

When I offered to refund Rob's license fee, he said: "...I don't want a refund. If you could do me a favor, please just make sure my license goes to someone serving in the military, currently serving or someone that has already served. Those are the true stories that need to be told."     

I told him yes, or course - and was flabbergasted by his suggestion.

Because it is so appropriate. 20 veterans commit suicide every day. We would be very honored to transfer his license and help any veteran/service member in any way we can.

And we are trying to do that now, by reaching out to various VA organizations.

We have also decided to make next month (June) a 2-for-1 Veterans Appreciation Month. For every The Life Writer license that we sell that month, we will give away 2 free licenses to veterans.   

And it's all because Rob - from Camas, Washington - asked me to transfer his license to a service member / vet.
